Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector’s Edition costs £280

The Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect Andromeda will be exclusive to GAME in the UK and will cost £279.99.

Listings for a remote controlled model of the brand-new Mako, the planet-side vehicle from the original Mass Effect, have been spotted on Amazon US. The car costs $199 and features 6 wheel drive, an integrated camera, and is controlled via a proprietary app.

Of course, this means that the transporter is making a return to the Mass Effect series. Shonky controls for the original Mako made getting around a headache – hopefully BioWare will have made some serious improvements for Andromeda.

According to Eurogamer, the Mako will also feature in the Collector’s Edition exclusive to GAME. The rest of the contents aren’t made clear, but for nearly £300, we would hope that it includes a robot butler and a small vial of fluid from the fountain of youth.

Players can also purchase the Deluxe or Super Deluxe editions of the game, but details of these packs haven’t yet been released. We do, however, have a look at the rather spiffing box art for Andromeda:
