The guide for Inside most of all contains a full walkthrough for the game. It contains information about levels in which you will have to be fast and agile and it also has description of all riddles and obstacles. The game is divided into a few chapters which fluently intertwine with each other while gradually becoming more challenging. At first glance Inside is a simple 2D platform game, but it is actually quite unordinary, mostly thanks to unique atmosphere of the title. You will control a young who is either escaping from something or trying to get somewhere (the game doesn’t give much hints about that). Almost entire environment and other people are hostile towards the protagonist, so it is very easy to die in the game. Despite the fact that at first the game seems to be easy, at some points it is quite challenging. This guide will help you in getting through all challenges. It is worth adding that the game contains no dialogues or monologues and in order to better understand the story and the game world you must thoroughly examine the environment.

Inside is an action platformer with similar style to Limbo. The game was developed by Danish studio Playdead led by Dino Patti. Among the key authors of the game there is Arnt Jensen as well. His artistic vision of Limbo was the decisive factor of the success of first game developed by these developers.
In Inside the player controls an anonymous boy who travels through dark, rainy universe. He must stop the forces of evil that are trying to take over the world by experimenting on humans. Facing these forces means solving more or less complicated riddles and interacting with the surroundings. Many times it will require high manual skills and quick reflex.
The title uses Unity engine. The three-dimensional graphics has more colors and the climatic and uncomplicated music perfectly suits the title.

For the last couple of years Playdead have been working hard on a new title, a follow up to the success of Limbo. Inside is the outcome. This is a gloomy journey of a little kid into the world of unethical human experiments.
1. You use arrows to control the character: left and right button to move to the left and to the right, up button to jump and climb ladders etc. and down button to stop holding objects, to walk down the rope or ladder and to dive. There is also a “hold” interaction button available which you will use to move objects, levers and to activate buttons.
2. At the beginning there are many levels in which you must escape or act quickly so that you won’t die. The further you will get in the game, the more obstacles you will have to think about how to get through them and the less crazy escapes and direct dangers. In these situations it is better to wait to have maximum amount of time that hoping that you get lucky. The game doesn’t forgive such mistakes.
3. The game has many checkpoints. You don’t need to worry that in case of dying you will have to repeat a long sequence.
4. Many riddles/obstacles requite the player to precisely start his movement. Very often you will have only 1 or 2 seconds to do it, sometimes you will have to time it perfectly. If you’re too late or you make a mistake, the attempt will end in failure.
5. When you will have to dive, remember that your character can drown very quickly – the game doesn’t help you with presenting an oxygen bar. You must listen to the sounds of the protagonist and you must observe him. When you will be running out of air, the protagonist will release a large cloud of oxygen bubbles. After the third cloud you will have only a short moment to get to the surface! Remember about it especially when you will act under the pressure of the time.
You start the game in a quite dark forest where your only option is to run to the right. After some time you will have to jump on a big tree log. Don’t worry about the balance of your protagonist, jump keep running forward. Soon you will encounter a barrier. Keep going forward and your character will slip through it. Despite the fact that your character will start sneaking up, you don’t have to worry about the people in the truck yet. Keep going forward.
Now you will reach some weird containers and people in mask. When they see you they will start the chase. Wait behind one of the containers for them to start searching through the area behind you. When that happens, run forward. You will reach a wall which you cannot jump over. Use the old fridge standing nearby. First hold it and move to the left or to the right in order to knock it on the ground. Then hold it again and move to the wall. Now you can climb on it and jump over the wall. You will pass by some new people, this time with a dog. They won’t detect you. Jump from the cliff onto the chest and immediately move it to the right, to the small gorge. Move it again to the right cliff. Climb on it and jump to the river.
Halfway the river you will be detected by patrols – you can’t avoid that. A dog will start chasing you. Keep escaping without any stops! You can slightly speed up by jumping to the right side. If you weren’t wasting time, you will manage to reach the cliff. Don’t stop – instead, use your speed to jump to the other side. You can do it when you’re at the very edge. You will hang on the roots and be able to climb up. The dog will retreat for now. You will be running with no worries for a longer while until you reach the road. Once you get slightly further from the forest, a car with people will appear. One of the people will observe the road. If he notices you, he will activate the flashlight and he will start shooting. Keep running and don’t slow down. Jump from the ledge and this time immediately hide on the left side. Wait for the car to drive away.
Now you can go back into the forest. However, soon you will discover that the van stopped there. You won’t avoid this chase – run to the right and watch out for the logs on your way – you must jump over them or you will fall and be killed. You will bypass a large pond and find a car wreck. Stop there, wait for another patrol to pass by you and then start running again. The man is still chasing you…
Keep running from the map in the mask (watch out for another log) until you jump from the slope. Now you will be chased by dogs, so you won’t have time to rest! Keep running. Jump over the last log and jump into the water. There you will be safe. You can find your first secret here if you swim to the left. Watch out for the last patrol standing on the bridge and for the man who is lighting the water. If you get into the light, you will be killed. Dive and swim under the water until it is far behind. When walking from the lake you will notice dead pigs and a road behind them. After going there you will start the next level of the game.
Once you slip from the slope, run towards the barrier. Now you can peacefully run through the field. In the middle of the field there will be a secret hatch leading to the second hidden ball. Later you will be able to open mysterious door here. It is easy to find the hatch if you hold the interaction button.
While you continue the journey through the field, small chickens will start gathering around you. They won’t harm you – actually, soon they will help. You will pass by some dead pigs and you will reach the barn. Jump and hang on the rope. Climb up. Now jump into the hole. In front of you there is the first obstacle. You can’t jump further until you create a path. You must do three things. First go to the left in order to raise the lock and open the door for the chickens. Then walk towards the engine with the large reel. You will have to interact with the rope a few times in order to kick start the engine. The chickens will be following you, so run as far to the right as possible and wait for them to gather around you. Now quickly go back to the lever. When the group will be in front of the pipe, pull the lever and hold it until the haystack drops to the ground. Now you can move the haystack and go forward.
You will climb on the roof and jump from it into the cart with the dead pigs. You can move it to the left or pull out the board and enter the secret room. Move the vehicle to the right so that you can jump on the fence. Once you jump of the shed, you will pass by a weird dead pig. This one won’t be dangerous. Now you will walk through a deep mud pond and then you will jump on the fence. Bypass another pig, this one with a living worm in its body. Suddenly the creature will rise and try ramming you. You must turn towards it and jump on it in order to avoid the attack. Keep going to the right. Lure the pig near the wall so that it crashes into the wall. This will allow you to enter inside. The pig will keep attacking you, so lure it to the right wall. After hitting it the pig will lose consciousness. Use that opportunity to catch the worm sticking from the back of opponent’s body. Now the pig will get up and be passive.
Catch it and move under the weird wire hanging in the middle of the room. If you jump, you will be connected and be able to control the people in the room. The “dull” ones are resistant to falls from high altitude and – what’s more important – they repeat your movements. Go to the left until one of them falls from the roof above. Then go to the left until both controlled people are at the bars. Catch the bars while going to the right and the next two guys will also hang on the bars. Once that happens, rise it up while holding the interaction button. Now make all four hang on the scaffolding and pull it to the left. The structure will collapse and a passage will be revealed. Press the holding button and down button in order to disconnect yourself. Jump from the boards and walk through the large door which you will hold and pull up. Now leave the farm. Run through the field and after passing next to the pipe you will see the city walls.
Your character will be sneaking up, but there are no threats here. You will bypass a truck and reach a wagon connected with chains. Push it to the wall in order to lower down the hanging chain. Now you can climb up to where you will jump through the window. Now you will reach an unfinished building. Walk to the right and climb up the ladder. In order to move further you must first move the wood cargo to the right and then hold the lever and raise it. Now you can climb up and carefully walk to the left. Then you must push the safe. Once it starts losing balance, run away! The boards will be destroyed and the safe will open the road for you. Go back through the same way and jump into the hole.
Here you can reach the fourth secret by opening the bars on the left. By going to the right you will encounter a lever and another mind control device. First open the door with the lever. Jump onto the wall and from it towards the sucking device. Go to the right as the controlled man, in such way that the second human won’t enter the garage. Disconnect yourself and close this time. Now you must connect yourself and position the two in such way that they will stand on the pressure plates. Notice that they are walking in opposite directions, so “go” in such way that they both stop at the walls. Now change the direction and go slowly until they both stand on the plates. This will open the door leading to the high ladder which leads to the roof of the building.
Behind the sign you will have to slide down and jump at the edge. Now you can slide a bit and jump to the ladder on the other side in order to walk down and collect the fifth secret. Climb up the pipe in order to continue your journey. There will be another fence to get through. While hanging on the other side, you must jump over the cliff. When you will walk through the narrow board, it will break and you will fall down. Jump from the balcony to the building and move further by running through the roofs. Once you reach the edge, press the down button. The protagonist will hang on the gutter and you will be able to walk down. A blocked passage will be in front of you. Catch the board and pull it to yourself. Repeat the action a few times until you create a passage. Once you walk down, catch the ladder and hold the right button. The ladder will tilt and you will be able to climb higher.
Next to you there will be a power lever. Before using it, run towards the elevator and raise the bars. Now go back and turn the power on. You will activate not only the elevator, but guard robots as well. If you walk into their range of sight, they will hit you with giant electroshock weapon. You must jump between the pillars in order to avoid reflectors. Be careful, even if a small part of your body is outside the pillar, you will be hit. The robots are scanning the area cyclically, so you must wait for the right occasions. Run from pillar to pillar, jump into the elevator and press the interaction button to activate the elevator. Now run through the narrow board and then through the wooden floor that will collapse.
You will encounter one of the “dull” ones and take his place in the waiting line. Soon after that a drone will fly and point its light at you. From now it will observe your movements. You must repeat the moves of other “dull” people in the line. If the light on the drone is flashing, it means that you aren’t doing it correctly and soon you will receive an electroshock. Don’t turn around in order to fix your position and don’t go too far forward or too slow. The line moves slowly, according to a pattern. The people are making 9 steps and then they stop. You can help yourself by counting to 9. Then there is a 5-second break and then they resume moving. You will reach the first test sector. While in it, you must jump at the same time as the rest. Then you will leave the sector, don’t do anything. Once you enter the second area you will have to turn to the left and then back to the right.
Soon later you will still walk in line when suddenly a dog will detect you. Start running to the right and jump from the roof so that you break through the window. The dog will keep chasing you. In order to buy some time you must run towards the wall. Jump on it once the dog will be close to you. Now you will have enough time to escape and jump into the sucker.
Order the controlled human to push the cart forward. Stop on the small, sticking out annex at the edge of the next building. Jump down and move the red chest further, on the pressure chest. Now go back and connect yourself again to the device. Keep driving the cart until you reach closed door. Release the cart as the controlled human, climb on it and jump to connect as well. Another controlled one will walk from the box nearby. Use him to hold the cart and move it further so that the boy will be above the platform. Now jump as him on the cart and stand on the plate. Disconnect yourself from the device and connect again. Thanks to that you will only control the first one. Hold the cart and drive further.
You will reach the room with the large hatch at the bottom. Position the cart in such way that the boy will hang above the left end. Release the cart as the controlled human and walk towards the lever on the right. Catch it and hold it till the end. When the hatch is fully open, disconnect from the machine.
You will fall into a giant lake. You must dive and swim in the bottom-left direction until you encounter a sticking palette with a red handle. Pull it out so that it will rise to the surface. Now swim with it further and you will climb on the wall. Then climb into the ventilation shaft. You will reach a room with a button in the middle. Press it and walk through the door. In the dried dock there is another button. If you press it, it will be refilled with water. When that happens, dive again, press the button and swim in the up-right direction. The dock will be dried and the next door will open (if you failed and the dock is filled with water, jump on the roof on the right and open the hatch to the first room). Now walk to the end of the large room and take the large briefcase. Move it to the end of the roof, above the hanging chain. Jump down and press the button. The dock will be filled with water and you will climb on the briefcase and then on the chain. At the roof you will notice new reflectors. You can bypass them if you stand under the large pipes. However, remember that the shadow changes its location – you cannot constantly stand in one place. When an opportunity occurs, jump and move part of the knob with the hold button and the down direction. Once the cage is low enough and the robot looks in different side, jump inside. Now wait for the second robot to finish his course to the cage. Now you can jump on the roof and run under the pipe. Wait again for the light behind your back and run forward. The third reflector is there. Once it moves, run towards the hatch and open it. Jump inside. There walk a bit down on the chain.
You will pass by old carts and see a pack of dogs far away. For now they won’t chase you. There will be a water tank in front of you. A dog will start chasing you once you walk out of it. Jump back into the water and swim a bit. Then dive, swim under it and get out of the water again. Now quickly run and slide down. Three dogs will run towards you, but you can jump on the net where you will be temporarily safe. You must jump on the right side, run to the barricaded passage and tear out the boards. You will have time only for one board before the dogs get you. You must avoid them by jumping on the net. Now walk to the other side and jump down. The dogs will return to you. Once you’re close, jump on the net again, jump down on the other side and keep tearing the boards. Repeat the process until you open the passage. After walking through the boy will automatically block the road. Leave the room and go down the ladder.
Stand in the shadow in front of the booth and wait for the submarine to reach the surface and the operator to climb to the top. After a moment he and another human will walk inside. Use this opportunity to walk down and take the equipment. Now dive as deep as you can. You will encounter blocked door. The submarine can use something similar to “boost”. By pressing the hold button you will charge power (the submarine will start trembling). Then you must press the direction in order to quickly swim there. This will allow you to open the blocked door and then break through the boards in the ground. Swim in the bottom-slightly left direction until you reach a cracked concrete wall. Break through it. Keep swimming and then change your direction to bottom where you will find another blocked door. Now you will encounter another cracked wall, but this time a reinforced one. Break part of the wall and then leave the submarine and swim through the hole. Swim to the end, climb on the furniture and jump on the rope.
Once you reach the top, keep going to the right until you encounter a button. Once you press it, immediately run to the left and dive into the water. Now you can go back. You will enter the green, plant room. There you will encounter the balls in the wall which you can activate. First climb on it and then activate it by pressing the hold button and the up direction button. Once it is high enough, jump on the board on the left. Now run towards the rope over the fall. Swing and jump into the hole. There you will find a button that will open the door near your submarine.
You can use the boat to jump from the water to the other side. Open the next door with the boost. Before you open the next door, you can swim down and move the container in order to create a passage to the sixth secret. However, in order to continue, walk through the door, resurface and move to the right wall. Now lower it and swim to the button which you bypassed. Then go back to the submarine and jump through the already opened door. Break the next door. You will encounter a new creature – a naked man with long dark hair. He won’t be too friendly, but you can scare him away with your reflector. If he swims very far away, you will have some time for your activities. However, if you allow him to get close, he will attack your boat. Keep swimming forward until you encounter a passage.
Now you must position yourself in such way that the opponent will be on the other side. Charge the boost and hit the lock above the door. This will close the passage. Hit the hole blocked with boards a few time and you will get to a big lake. If you move to the left, you will reach the location with the seventh secret. There you must hit the pipes in order to unlock ladder. From the ladder, by swimming to the right, you will reach the beach. Here you must leave your vehicle. You will reach a powerful wall and you will open large door.
When you push the door by using the hold button and the direction, you will fall down to a new room. Behind you there will be bars with another dull one. Go to the right until you reach the elevator. For now continue the journey. Before you there is one of the longest logic riddles in the game. You will find a large pressure plate and a power on switch. Once you pull the lever, numbers will appear on the large screen. They will represent the required number of people needed for opening the door. One is already here, another one you met at the beginning, behind the bars. The rest can be found on the upper and lower floor. First use the elevator to go down. Go to the right.
You will pass by another elevator with tracks and then a group of dull people. You will reach a water tank. Dive down and when you pass by the pillar immediately resurface in order to gather oxygen. Now dive again and pass by another concrete pillar. Resurface after that. Now climb on the rocks and jump on the rope. You must swing to the other rope. From there you must swing and jump to the platform. If you fall into the water, you will have to get here again.
Run through the scaffolding. You will have to jump to the sucker but the cable will break. The dull ones will catch and put you on the ground. They will also follow you. Go back to the tracks where a ladder was hanging from high. Hold the jump button – “your men” will raise you up. Now you can go back to the elevator with the handle and drive down for the controlled people. Go far to the left, but don’t ride the elevator up yet. You will reach a large cart which together with your companions you will move. You must position it under the grain hole. Before that point there is a rope hanging in the place where the first red light is falling. Jump there with the help of the “dull” ones and go to the left, to the grain drop. This will allow you to get to the cart. The controlled ones will be automatically moving to the left.
Now you can run further and climb up the boards. There will be the eighth secret which you will open later with the help of other people. Walk through the large pond and reach the weird pillar and the hanging container. First take down the chest from the cage. Now activate the ball and jump from it. When it will be in the air, move the chest underneath it. Now jump again and activate the cage. When it will be at the highest point, jump towards the container. The door will open more widely and the people will fall from it. Now you control 3 more people. Go back to the boards if you want to unlock the eighth secret. Disassemble the boards with your new sidekicks. Then go to the elevator.
Ride to the top. Go to the left and drop the cage with some new people. Don’t worry, drops from high can’t hurt them. Now run to the right edge of this floor. Then jump with the help of the dull ones. First press the jump button (up direction button), and when they will pick your character, hold both up and right pressed. You will reach a new ledge. In this room you will find a corpse that you must drag and drop down. Once it is done, go back to your men and ride the elevator to the middle floor.
Go to the left, to the broken cage. Now go to the end, to the man locked behind the door with bars. Together with your group you can lift the bars. Go to the edge and jump to the platform with the lever. A little challenge awaits you now. With the lever you can move the tracks. However, if you move it now, the cart will ride down and one further part is above. You must move the lever again at the right time. If the cart is just before the base of the second metal game, then it is a perfect time. The cart will crash on the ground and the people will be freed. Go back to your crew by jumping from the platform and climb on the boards. Now you can go to the gate with the counter. Here you will find the two final people. All of them will automatically stand on the plate. All that’s left for you to do is to drag the corpse that you dropped on the plate. The counter should show zero and the gate should open.
This is a large and dangerous location. Before you move further, read a few advices. You will be moving through a long bridge. Far away there will constantly be some explosions or there will be a device that creates powerful shockwave. If you don’t be hidden behind some stable obstacle or inside a room, you will die. The shockwave happens cyclically. Before the explosion you will hear a sound and see a flash in the distance. Then there will be a moment of silence and finally the wave itself. The pause between the explosions lasts around 4 seconds counting from the end of the explosion to the flash (which lasts around 2 seconds). You must precisely and patiently select moments when you will move.
Run until you encounter a large chest. Move it and wait for the wave to destroy it. Now run to the first wall and walk to its edge. Wait for the explosion to end and run towards the lever. Pull it immediately! You will activate the barrier. Pull the lever again after the next explosion in order to unlock the barrier in front of you. Now run to the cover. You will see a lever, a ladder with a platform and a rotating cover in front of you.
You can stop or move the cover with the lever. The key to success is to activate it and run during such time that it will protect you during the climbing and later when you run and jump. You can’t position it at the height of the ladder because you must survive two explosions on that platform while moving. You will need to have very good timing. Position the cover stopped when it is below, slightly to the right, on fifth hour. Once the explosion ends, activate the mechanism and run to the ladder. While you will be more or less in the middle, another explosion should occur and you should reach the top.
Here you can wait for the cover to rotate. When it will almost pass by you, another explosion will occur and you must start running further. When you will jump to the ground, the cover should pass by you and you should avoid the wave. Don’t stop!
Now you will encounter a pillar with a ball. If you activate it, it will need about 5 seconds to be shot up. You must fire it in the middle of the break from the wave. Once you do it, hide behind the wall. After the explosion you must jump on that chest and again jump to the right on the sloping surface. You will enter a room with a lever and with moved cover. Once you activate the mechanism, metal curtains securing the area will rise. You can hold the cover and move behind it further. Remember that it is helpful to you for as long as there is a metal barrier before it. Soon you will reach a few boards that create a provisory bridge. However, there is no barrier here that would hold your cover. You must wait for the wave and then move the cover to the other side. You will reach the end of this building by doing so. There you will see another mechanism.
You won’t have any influence on this cover, but during the explosion it stops below. You must jump down and run there when the arm will be reaching third hour like the pendulums on the clock. Wait for the wave and go to the left. You will slide down through the large pipes soon, but first wait for the sound that will signal the explosion. Only after you hear it you should jump. When you will be sliding, the explosion should occur when you bypass the wall. At the bottom the explosion won’t be able to hurt you. Now you can run further with no worrier. You will reach an elevator. First rise the bars and then press the button. You will ride down.
During the ride the explosion will reach you and damage the elevator. You will fall into the water. Open the bars on the right in order to swim into the small hole above. Now you will encounter another pillar with a ball. Jump on the ball and activate it. Jump on the rope on the left and swing it. You will jump on the platform on the left. Interact with the lever and hold it until the door on the right is fully opened. Now quickly jump back on the rope. By using the speed the rope will swing close the passage. Use it to jump further. Walk downstairs to the first of many flooded rooms. First swim to the wall and then dive down. Swim under the wall and enter the lighted reflector.
Once you leave through the hatch, you will see two pillars with chests to fire. Above, on the right side, there is a button which moves the bridge on the left side. Fire the chest on the right and then run to the chest on the left and fire it as well. Now go back to the right chest which will rise up. Jump and quickly run to the button. Now the left chest should be shot up. Once it is above the bridge, press and hold the button. The chest will drop on the bridge. Now you can walk down and after firing the right chest you can jump on the one on the bridge. Now you can go up.
Jump through the hatch to the water. There you will encounter the creature with the long hair. It will wake up soon, so swim to the right. You will see a rope at the top – this is your only escape route. The enemy will resign and swim deeper into the water. Swing on the rope and when you’re as far to the right as possible, jump in that direction. Quickly swim to the next rope. Now you can get to the platform above. Walk to the right edge ad jump into the water. Dive to the bottom and move to the right, to the open door. Now go up, until you reach the bridge. Walk through it and swim to the next bridge. There will be a hanging chain and a button above. The button will activate a mechanism that moves the chain to the left and back. Lower yourself until you’re just above the water. Once you’re almost at the end of the route, you will start touching the water. This will lure your opponent. Climb before he catches you! He will remain further from the platform.
Now jump on the platform and into the water on the right side. Use the additional time to swim to the button at the bottom. It will start closing the passage behind you – the creature won’t be able to reach you. Swim to the surface and use the ladder to climb on the bridge. You will reach a place with hanging rope. Simply start swinging and jump further. Now you will encounter large round door which you must push.
Once again you will fall into water where the enemy will be waiting. Quickly swim to the bridge and go to the hatch located further on the right. In this place you can start obtaining the next secret. Simply enter the water, wait for the long haired to swim towards you and get back to the surface. Now go to the left side and dive. Swim a bit through the tunnel and you will resurface in the room with the secret. Once you get back to that hatch, jump and swim to the button. Press it and go back. Walk to the right side and dive close to the edge. This will lure the enemy. Now you can go back through the top and jump through the hatch again. Dive to the button which will now activate the closing of the door. Run from the long hairder. Swim through the next room, first by swimming up and then down through the passage. Hang on the chain and climb up. The bridge will fall and you will watch a longer cutscene.
You have obtained a new power – you can remain underwater for as long as you want. You won’t encounter the long haired opponent anymore – he became your ally. Once you drop to the bottom, you will gain control of your character. Swim up and then through the flooded room. When you will reach the place with the hatch on the right, you can swim further to the bottom-left in order to unlock secret. There are door there which you can open in two phases. First with the lever – interaction button and down – then the second up – also with the interaction button and the down direction button. By swimming further you will find a hidden ball. Once you return and swim through the hatch, you should interact with the red handle on the ceiling. Wait for the strong current to end and swim to the next handle. A hatch will open, you can swim through it to the surface.
By going to the right you will encounter a reflector of a sentinel robot. Wait under the platform until the light turns to the right. Once that happens, run and rotate the knot so that the platform is above you. Now you can go back to the secret. You must reach the shallow water through which you previously went. When the character starts swimming, dive down and then to the right. Positioning the mechanism higher will give you access to the platform on which the hidden ball is located. Go back up to the handle. When the light starts moving away, position the platform as far to the right as possible. Wait for the rotation of the light. Once it happens, climb the ladder, jump on the platform and keep going to the right. Once at the edge, the only option you will have will be to jump into the small hatch below. Swim from it and go to the right, through the fence.
You will reach a large location with the gravitation of the water turned upside down. Jump into the hatch and go to the right. At the end you will see another pillar with chest that can be fired. The button will activate the above platform thanks to which you will fire the chest from the pillar. Fire the chest, position yourself at the button and use it at right time. Now pull the chest to the left, to the uneven surface. Activate it here, so that if will reach the higher floor. Don’t stand on it! Use the ladder and position it under the open hatch. Fire the ball in the chest and run to the button. Once it rises higher that the ceiling, press it. Now you have a chest in the room with rotated gravity. Go to the left, jump into the water and open the hatch. Now you can return to the large room. While having the fired chest you can obtain the next secret. Pull the chest to the right side. Climb on it and activate it.
You will fly to the button which you must activate. The wall in front of you will drop. Repeat the action and jump on the wall which will rise now. Once you find the hidden ball, all that you must do now is stand on the wall that had risen and then walk down. Now, position the chest at the start of the room but before the second chest with the pillar. First fire the chest below, then the second one. Immediately position it on the one below and climb on it. In this sequence the first chest will fly high and only after that the second one will take you to the water above. There is a huge hatch in the middle. At the sides you have two cotters which you must pull out. Only after that you will open a passage up. Go further until you climb the ladder and close the hatch behind you.
First go to the left where you will reach to a wall with plastic box. Interact with it and pull it to the right. At some point the giant door will open. Don’t go there! Some people will enter in order to take the cage. Wait for them to finish and then move the chest further. In front of you there is another room with gravity turned upside down. Move the chest through the middle in order to regulate water level. Lower the water so that the chest will swim up. Now enter the water and position the chest above the platform with the ladder. Now raise the water level in such way that the chest will be just above the lamp on the right side, near the door. Now climb the ladder to the platform, then walk on the chest and swim to the other side.
Jump to the next water tank and swim down. Wait for the two workers to leave the room. Once that happens, jump down. On the left there will be a handle which you must pick up. The water level will rise and the bodies will drop. It turns out that when the long haired connected to the sucker, you gained the ability to control the “dull” people without needing any devices (however, these ones are looking more “deformed”). Use their help to jump and lower the handle. Then leave the room and climb up the stairs. Jump higher with the help of your allies again and swim to the right. Below you will see a button. You must get out of the water (fall down) while pressing the button at the same time.
Walk through the door. You will encounter other people that will join you. When you encounter a large hole, jump through it with the help of your crew. The others will blindly follow you. They will catch you when you jump down. Then use them to reach the ventilation hole. Once you leave that narrow corridor, on the left you will be able to enter the elevator. Use it to ride up. Your men remained on the roof of that elevator, so go to the left, to the light room.
If you want to get the secret, you must be careful now. Once you reach that room, the people will start falling from the above floor. Go back to the elevator. Once a few or half of the people enter the elevator, press the button. The device will ride down. The ones that remained will again fall on the roof. Now ride back. On the right from the elevator there will be a dark pillar. If you stand behind it or in front of it, you will see a hanging rope. Stand as the protagonist behind the pillar in such way that you won’t be able to see it. Now jump “blindly” with the help of your group and climb to the top. You can also stand in front of the pillar and jump by using the top-right direction buttons. There on the left there should be a group of your people that remained. Go forward until you notice the hidden ball on the ceiling. After unlocking it jump with the rest of the people below. Get all the crew into the elevator and ride down. Open the door together. The crew will help you jump on the ledge. Now enter inside.
You will be running through a few empty rooms. On the way you will pull a lever in order to open the door. Pass by some laboratories and scientists that won’t be harassing you. You will reach a big glass with a large group of people. However, you won’t see anything and nothing will happen. Hold the table and go back until you see a ladder on which you can jump. Walk on the panel and jump on the cable with the bulb. Climb halfway up, swing on the rope and jump to the red pipe. Now you will reach a ventilation shaft. You will reach the top of the tank. The people will still ignore you. Pick up the hatch and continue the trip. You will reach the edge. Jump on the ladder from there. If you go up, you will reach the final secret. A big capsule will be open there – assuming that you have found and deactivated the previous 13 balls. There is also a notice board with glowing lights that symbolize all collected secrets. You must enter that big ball and “blindly” use the hold and direction button. Everything except for the second light on the board will be turned off. It is the location of the second secret and of the secret ending.
Walk down the ladder and open the hatch. Jump on the cabin and take control. First move down, then to the left, until you reach the ladder. Climb on the cabin and jump. Now go down through the large pipe. You will reach the bottom part of the tank. First turn the power off on the platform. Then jump to the water and pull both blockades out, from the left and from the right. Now turn the power back on and quickly dive down. There is a large handle in the middle. Hang on it and wait for the current to start pulling you up while the hatch above you opens. Once it is fully opened, release the handle. You will fly inside.
Now disconnect all four suckers connected to the large human mass. Then enter it. You will be swallowed, but you will take control of the mass that consists of human bodies. You can be underwater for as long as you want, you can ram, pick up heavy items and be very elastic thanks to your form. You can reach inaccessible places.
As the mass, pull out the device connected to the glass on the left side. When it breaks you will be able to move further. Continue the crazy run until you reach the place where the worker will close the door before you. Since you have the strength of a whole group of people, you can pull the door to you. Run further until you get outside the facility, to the group which you left earlier. You will get to the left side where there will be a hole above. Your old crew will help you climb higher. Enter the elevator which will collapse. Fall to the bottom, to the miniature model. Go to the right and pull out the large chest from the wall. Hold it and move to the right side through something similar to a canteen. The mass can move objects easier. If you hold the interaction button and directional buttons, you can move various objects to various sides. Position the large chest under the wall and then climb on it and move further. Jump to the main part of the canteen and run to the right.
You will break through the wall and into the office where the scared worker will stand in your way. You have no other choice than to run through the window while ramming that man. After a long drop and the fall, walk to the left. A large beam will be in the water. Catch it and go to the door on the right side. In order to open it you must pick up the beam to vertical position and hit the red button in front of you. The key to success is to correctly stand when raising it. Don’t stand precisely under the button but slightly to the side. When the beam is above you, try not to walk to the sides.
The door will open and dogs will run out. Now they aren’t a threat to you. Take the beam with you and walk to the lifter. Catch the beam in such way so that you will hold it horizontally on your right side. Release it so that it falls on the pressure plate. At the same time you must enter the lifter. This will take you higher. Jump down. A worker will appear and wave his hands so that you move away. After a moment he will enter a code and open the door for you. Now you can get through it. Another man will open the hatch, jump into it while holding the down direction button. Take the chest that is nearby and run to the right.
In order to open the door you must hold the chest above you and throw it down at the secured reflector. First the cover will drop. After the second throw you will break the light and open the door. Take the chest again and go further. You will walk through river with pipes above it – the pipes are deactivated sprinklers. At the end you will find something like blast furnace. Open the hatch and set the chest on fire. When you will return, the sprinklers will activate. You must throw the chest above them, run and catch it in the air. Go back to the place where you fallen. Now throw the chest into the blue hole. Something inside will be set on fire and the large hatch on the right side will open.
You will once again reach the large area between the powerful walls. On the left there are carts which you must pull to the right side. Position them under the cabin and climb to it. Hang on it and then start swinging. Once you close enough, one of the men on the balcony will attach the hook, allowing you to pull out part of the wall. Now move the carts further and use the new passage. You will find a chest. Throw it on the platform. One of the men will set it on fire and throw back to you. Catch it and throw up, at the button. Remember that the chest will shoot after 5 seconds, so don’t throw it immediately. Instead of that, wait a bit. Once you throw it, quickly run to the door that will open only for a short time.
You will enter a dark room where a large crowd will be looking at you. In the middle there will be bait in the form of a chest. However, the floor will collapse soon. The hatch will close and you will be in dark. After a while you will get use to the dark and start recognizing the surroundings. Swim to the bottom and hang on the left side. Tear pieces of wall one after another until you pull out the bars. Swim up, towards the light. Now the final run! Run to the right until you reach the wooden wall. One floor will collapse here. Move back, gain some speed and ram the wooden wall. Now you will see a cutscene which will probably make you think about some things. Congratulations, you reached the end!
Here you will find descriptions of all 14 secret locations with the mysterious balls to deactivate. These are also all achievements to unlock. They are also required for unlocking the hidden, alternative ending for the game.
In many, of not all, places, you will be informed of their presence with yellow cables. They will help you reach these balls. The balls are glowing if you haven’t unlocked them. If a ball isn’t glowing, then it seems you did it before.
Once you see the hidden ending, all secrets will reset. You can collect them again. This will allow you to see the hidden ending again.

1 – Murky waters
The first ball can be obtained in the forest, when you will escape from three dogs and you will jump into the water. Swim as far to the left as possible and then dive. There will be a large corridor leading to the cave. Enter the left above floor and start moving the large wooden log. Once you drop it, you will create a bridge to the ball. Now hold it and pull in order to complete the first hidden objective.
2 – Field research
Once you start running through the cornfield, halfway you will encounter a secret hatch. The easiest way to find the hatch is to run while having the holding button pressed. Walk down the ladder to the hidden bunker. You will reach a small room. On the right you will have a mysterious hatch which you will open after collecting all secrets. On the left you will have a passage to the second hidden ball.
3 – Wee wee wee
On the roof of the barn you will have to run and jump into the cart with pigs. Move that cart to the left side. Climb on it and tear the boards from the wall. You will enter a room filled with pigs. Hang on the rope, climb up, swing and jump to the ledge on the left. There you will find another ball.
4 – Left behind
Once you leave the farm and reach the unfinished building, you will encounter a place where you must drop the safe. Once you jump to the hole, walk to the left wall, tear the bars and you will see another ball.
5 – Obscure Foundations
When you will run through the buildings, you will encounter a large (slightly ruined) sign. Now you must slide down the roof and jump on the pipe. Instead of going up, go down and jump on the ladder on the right side. At the bottom there is another ball.
6 – Friends in low places
Flooded underground. Once you return to the boat in order to jump over the wall and dive deeper, you will see a wide, low door. Ram them and then, before the next door, swim lower and move the container by hitting it. Swim across the tunnel. Once you resurface, climb on the ladder and connect to the sucker. Walk as the “dull” man to the edge so that he falls on the submarine. Now take control of the machine and swim under the second sucker. Use the abilities of your vehicle to shoot yourself up. The dull one will connect to the sucker. Go back to the first controller and connect yourself. Now you will control the man on the bridge in the background and you can walk to the sixth ball.
7 – A Tableau
After hitting the hole blocked with boards a few times you will reach a large lake. If you move to the left, you will reach the location with the seventh secret. There you must hit the pipes with your boat in order to unlock the ladder on which you will jump and get up. The next ball is there.
8 – Pack mentality
The secret is at the second riddle in the mine, the one with the pressure plate and gathering a group of 20 people. You must walk to the bottom floor, to the left side. First you must obtain the sucker to control people which was on the right side. Once you free the people from the container and will return, jump from the small slope with boards. Use the controlled ones to pull out the boards. Now you must walk down the long ladder. Then pick the torch. When you will walk to the left, dogs will come. You can scare them away with the fire, but only if you turned towards the dogs that attack you. This will allow you to get close to the ball and pull the cotter. After that the dogs will run away.
9 – Respite
In the flooded base, when you open the large round door and drop into the water, there will be an opponent there. Quickly swim on the bridge and walk towards the hatch which is further to the right. Now enter the water and wait for the long haired to swim towards you. Then leave the water. Now go to the left side and dive. You will swim through the tunnel and resurface in the room with the secret. You can push the boards in order to get out or you can get yourself killed by jumping back on the long haired – you will save yourself the trouble of returning.
10 – Unfathomable
Once you obtain the power to be able to remain infinitely under water, swim through the flooded room until you reach the cyclically opened hatch. Dive deeper and towards the left. There you will find door which you can open in two steps. First the lever – interaction button and down – then the second one above – also interaction button and down direction. By swimming further you will find the secret ball.
11 – Clockwork
Research facility. In the place where you encounter the reflector of the robot, you must position the platform above yourself. Now you can go back to the shallow water through which you went here. When the character starts swimming, dive down and then to the right. You will reach the bridge on which there is the hidden ball.
12 – Room for Reflection
In the first, large room with gravitation turned upside down there is another secret. Once you transport the chest here, pull it to the right side. Climb on it and activate it. You will fly to the button which you must press. The wall in front of you will drop. Repeat the action and jump on the wall which will raise now. There you will find the hidden ball.
13 – Office space
In the part where you must transport the controlled people with the elevator it is important to move only half of them. Once they fall from the highest part and will follow you to the elevator, it is important that you let in only a few of them or half. Now press the button and ride down. The ones that were left will fall on the roof. Now go back up. On the right from the elevator there will be a dark pillar. If you stand behind or in front of it, you will see a hanging rope. Stand as your protagonist behind the pillar in such way that your crew will raise you or stand in front of the pillar and jump by using the up-right directions. Climb up. There, on the left, there should be a group of your people that left. By going to the left you will see the hidden ball on the ceiling. Use your crew to jump to it.
14 – The Last One
Once you reach the top of the giant water tank, move further. You will see a ladder and a few yellow cables. Climb up and then to the right. If you found and deactivated all 13 balls (represented by the lights on the board), there will be a big capsule open there. You must enter it and blindly use the hold button and direction button. All lights except for the second one on the board will be turned off. The second light represents the location of the second secret and the location of the hidden door which now you can open.
If you found and unlocked all 14 balls in the hidden locations, now you can open the secret door. First go to the second secret location – the bunker under the corn field. Before the door there is a panel with a lever which now can be moved in three directions. The correct sequence will open the door. Each direction has different sound and you can learn the order by hearing the recording at the fifth ball. Below you can find the proper combination. Pull the lever in the following directions:
Up, up, right, left, right, right, right, up, up, up, right, left, left, left.
The door will open and you will walk through the long tunnel. Pick up the cover from the wall on the right in the room to which you entered. Now there is only one interaction remaining – you can pull out the cable. This interestingly corresponds with the ending, but the answers are for you to be found, dear player.
